At Ethical Shields AI, protecting data isn't an add-on — it's part of what we do. Here we explain, in plain language, what information we collect through this site, what we use it for, and how you can stay in control of it.
Who we are
Ethical Shields AI is an independent business and financial consultancy powered by artificial intelligence, operating since 1998. This site is an informational and commercial-contact tool. For anything related to your data, you can reach us at info@ethicalshields.ai.
Data controller
The controller responsible for processing your data is Ethical Shields AI. For any privacy-related matter you can contact us at info@ethicalshields.ai. The controller's registration details and registered address will be completed in this section once the corresponding registration is finalized.
What data we collect
We only collect the data you choose to share through our forms:
- Strategic assessment form: name, email, phone (optional), country, city (optional), organization or company, area of interest, and any message you write to us.
- Operational maturity assessment: name, company, email, and the answers you select in the test (used to calculate your maturity level and return a result with recommendations).
We do not request sensitive data (health, ideology, detailed financial data, etc.) through this site. Please do not include such data in the message field.
Legal basis for processing
We process your data based on:
- Your consent, which you give when you submit a form or complete the maturity assessment.
- The performance of pre-contractual measures and our legitimate interest in responding to your request and following up commercially on the services you're interested in.
What we use your data for
- Responding to your request and getting in touch with you.
- Sending you the result of your diagnosis or assessment and the related recommendations.
- Following up commercially on the services or products you're interested in.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it for commercial purposes.
How your data is processed and stored
This site has no database of its own. Form submissions are handled through Netlify Forms, the service provided by our hosting provider (Netlify), which securely stores submissions and notifies us by email. Our email is handled with Microsoft 365. If you contact us via WhatsApp, that conversation is handled on Meta/WhatsApp's platform.
International data transfers
Some of our providers (Netlify, Microsoft and Google) may process or store information outside your country of residence, including the United States. These providers apply recognized contractual safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data in such transfers.
Cookies and analytics
The site works without advertising or analytics tracking cookies. We load fonts from Google Fonts so the site displays correctly. If we enable analytics in the future (for example, Google Analytics 4), we will ask for your consent through a cookie notice before activating them; those metrics would be aggregated and would not identify you personally.
How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as needed to handle your request and follow up commercially, and afterward for the period required to meet our legal obligations. If we don't end up establishing a relationship, we delete the information once it is no longer needed. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Security of your data
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access to form submissions is restricted to our team. Our providers store the information applying industry-standard security measures.
Minors
This site is aimed at companies and professionals. It is not directed at minors, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Your rights
At any time and free of charge, you can exercise your rights of:
- Access — see what data of yours we hold.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or outdated data.
- Erasure — delete your data from our records.
- Objection and restriction — object to or restrict certain processing.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured format.
- Withdraw your consent for future contact, at any time.

If you believe we have not handled your rights properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Spain, this is the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Third parties we work with
- Netlify — site hosting and form handling.
- Microsoft 365 — handling of our email.
- Google — fonts (Google Fonts) and, when active with your consent, anonymous analytics (Analytics).
- Meta / WhatsApp — when you choose to contact us through that channel.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect site improvements or legal changes. The "last updated" date at the top indicates the current version.
